I just noticed this great recap of an event I had the pleasure of taking part in back in June complete with photos and links to additional coverage.

Andrew Mondschein at the Rudin Center for Transportation Policy and Management brought together a group of researchers to speak about a wide variety of issues related to urban walking. I talked about "socio-economics of walking". Dick Ettema from Utrecht University provided a fascinating  exploration of walking and "well-being", David King from Columbia University presented novel ideas about funding and talked about what people really value from TOD - the walking environment.
